Grade Level Parents — 2026–27 We are looking for two parents per grade to attend PA meetings, share updates with their grade-level parents, and serve as a go-to for quick questions. You’ll receive the information and support you need, and it’s a great way to stay connected and help strengthen our school community.

Fête de la Rentrée 📅 Friday, September 25, 2026 ⏰ 4:00–8:00 PM We’re excited to kick off the school year together! Volunteers help with setup, decor, the bar, activity/food stations, and cleanup. Bartenders must complete the required California alcohol-service certification at least one week before the event. REMINDER: Bartenders must be certified (info: https://shorturl.at/r07Ph)

Thanksgiving Dessert 📅 Friday, November 20, 2026 ⏰ 3:30–4:00 PM Parents donate desserts and supplies for our student Thanksgiving Dessert tradition. Students participate in staggered grade-level groups near the end of the school day.

French Holiday Bazaar 📅 Friday, December 4, 2026 ⏰ 4:00–8:00 PM (tentative) Our signature holiday market brings together shopping, food, drinks, and a festive French atmosphere. Volunteers help with setup, decor, vendors, bar and hot drinks, activity areas, and cleanup. Bartenders must have the required California certification.

Galettes des Rois 📅 Celebration: Friday, January 22, 2027 ⏰ Time TBD 🍰 Baking day/time TBD Parents gather for a baking session before the celebration to make traditional galettes together. The finished galettes are brought to school and served to students. Final baking day and times will be confirmed.

Crêpe Sale 📅 Friday, March 26, 2027 ⏰ 9:30–10:30 AM Parents make crêpes and homemade baked goods, then help reheat and serve them during the student morning snack period. Students participate in staggered grade-level groups.

Vive le Printemps 📅 Friday, April 9, 2027 ⏰ 4:00–8:00 PM (tentative) Our biggest spring community celebration brings LILA families together for food, drinks, music, games, inflatables, an auction/raffle, and the Farmstand. Volunteers help with setup, the bar, activity areas, auction/Farmstand, and cleanup.

Teacher & Staff Appreciation Luncheon 📅 Friday, May 7, 2027 ⏰ 11:00 AM–2:00 PM We transform the auditorium into a welcoming lunch space for LILA teachers and staff. The PA provides the main catered meal, and parents can help decorate, serve, clean up, and contribute salads, sides, desserts, flowers, or raffle prizes.
