Strike! Afterparty: Everybody loves to go to the party, but we're looking for those special sickos who like to clean up after even more. Join the strike crew and help make LILApalooza 2025 history, literally, by helping us break it down at the end of the event. Aside from a feeling of enormous accomplishment and virtue, there'll be an incentive for you (probably pizza and a La Croix and any discarded treats you can find). The strike committee has one rule: NO FLAKES! Please only sign up if you're willing to commit to this for real.
Art Gallery: We’re looking for volunteers to help with the initial setup of the art gallery on May 13, including decorating the space, hanging artworks and signage, and setting up refreshments for the Grand Opening. The Grand Opening will take place on May 14, before LILApalooza. We’ll need a few volunteers that day to greet guests, direct them to the QR code for the auction, and encourage bidding. We do not need additional help during LILApalooza, but we may need support with striking the gallery afterward—either later that day or on Monday. This includes moving artworks to safe storage, taking down decorations, and restoring the room to its original setup.
Auction: Setting up and managing the auction booth
Baby Disco: entertainment for the under-5 crew
Baguettes: Make and sell baguettes
Bake sale duties: Setup: volunteers will help shuttle baked goods from the kitchen to the bake sale area as well as set up the items on the bake sale table. Shift Volunteers: will be in charge of selling items, packing them into bags and to-go containers, taking payments and making change. Shift Captain: will be responsible for overseeing the bake sale shift volunteers, helping ease the transition between volunteer shifts, making sure items are restocked, ensuring hygienic practices are being followed, and being generally in charge of the operations of the booth when the leads are not present.
Bar (Main): Barbacks will open beers/wine/restock ice/help with recycling and trash
Bar (Petite): Barbacks will open beers/wine/restock ice/help with recycling and trash
Bubble Rollers: Crowd control and ticket collection. 1ST SHIFT STARTS @ 12:55
Coffee Stand: Collect Lilabucks for vendor, pour coffee
Cotton Candy: Make and sell Cotton Candy.
Crafts: Supervise craft activities
Decor Advance Prep: BEFORE April 30: Duties include painting large-scale signs, game areas, and designated event spaces. Volunteers can choose convenient dates to come in during school hours. All supplies and materials will be provided on site. We are looking for 1–2 volunteers to help paint the main sign prior to the event—woodworking experience is a big plus. We're also seeking a graphics/design team to assist with layout and visual elements. Please connect with lf-pa-volunteers@lilaschool.com to coordinate.
Event Decor: Set up 5/16: Help set up decor and organize/deliver items in storage to dedicated tent; setup entrance canopy, large scale sign placement/secure, tent banner set up, selfie station, filler and fluffers. At end of event: take down, label and pack decor items in shed2 hr. minimum. Event set up/ strike 5/18

Face Paint: Paint faces
Farm Stand: If you’ve ever dreamed of running a stand at the farmers’ market, now is your chance! Sit in one of two comfy chairs as customers visit your stall to buy handmade treats. All you need to do is offer samples, answer questions, and keep track of sales and LILA bucks

Kiddie Korner: Kiddie Korner – Volunteer Opportunity Join us in creating a safari-themed play area for kids 6 and under, featuring animal-themed games, arts & crafts, and photo ops. Volunteers are needed to help with setup, greet families and collect LILA$, keep the area tidy during the event, and assist with takedown afterward. It’s an easy and fun way to get involved—thank you for lending a hand!

Parking All Stars: Do you like to tell people, especially other drivers, where to go and what to do? Want to rule the world for a couple of hours? Come volunteer to help with LILApalooza parking! Parking teams will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient entry and exit of vehicles on Main Campus and at Prospect Studios. Parking leads and volunteers will oversee VIP parking and family/elderly/disabled/ride-share drop off on Main Campus; and general parking at Prospect Studios.
Photo booth duties: Photographers; Print managers (print and hand out); Tickets cashiers & crowd control
Prizes: Do you like crushing kids dreams? Want a little payback over the little brats? Become a boss of their fate by managing prizes and macaronis.
Set Up Stations/ Load In: Help set the tents, tables around the field - as many hours as you can give between 1-6 pm
Slide: Crowd control and ticket collection. 1st SHIFT STARTS @ 12:55
Talent Show: A super fun position - helping the talent committee put on the show! Volunteers committing to more than one shift in this position much appreciated. Duties include: checking in parents and performers for rehearsals, set up of ELC before and put away chairs after, make sure the ELC is put back in original condition, watch/“judge” acts, general floating/running. Day of show duties: get kids on and off stage, general floating/running and clean up the stage area after show.
Tickets: Distribute WILL CALL. Please arrive 5 minutes before shift.
